pityriasis rosea.
Matthew went back to the dermatologist on Monday afternoon after a couple of treatments were not making a difference. One of the dermatologists from last week looked at her again and said that he is 99% sure it is pityriasis rosea. This is an auto-immune disorder that was triggered by a prior infection, even a minor cold. The rash should clear up on its own in 6-8 weeks.
The location where the first ones came up are beginning to get better and her face looks a little better. I guess only time will help with this one.
Thanks for all the emails and well wishes.
